President Ivo Josipovic has emphasized that Croatia's appearance at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai is an indication of the country's excellent relations in cultural affairs and a strong foundation for further economic cooperation.During his visit to China last Friday, Josipovic said that several investments in infrastructural projects are under consideration.Josipovic and China's vice-president Xi Jinping discussed how to better their cooperation through concrete investment projects with the hosts once again emphasizing their interest in Zagreb's airport, Rijeka and Ploce seaports and the building of a railway between Rijeka and the Croatian-Hungarian border.The Chinese Minister of Information Wang Chen also said that Croatia is the most important Chinese partner in southeastern Europe, the Croatian daily Vecernji List reports"Croatian Pavilion at the EXPO, in which Croatian cities and rich urban traditions are presented, will be a stimulus for many Chinese to visit Croatia in the few next years," he said.
