Following the Croatian government's announcement that public-sector salaries may be cut by ten per cent, teachers' unions are threatening to boycott the beginning of the school year, and doctors are preparing equally-tough measures.The unions are warning that, although they tolerated a last salary cut of six per cent and the crisis tax, they will not accept further salary cuts.Additional negotiations between representatives of the unions and the government are expected, the daily Vecernji List has reported.
