Freezing temperatures at official winter start

Meteorologists are warning of a very cold official beginning of the winter season in Croatia, with daily temperatures hovering at zero or below in the days to come.The continental parts of the country will experience temperatures dropping below minus two degrees Celsius. Those on the coast, however, can look forward to slightly warmer days and temperatures reaching up to plus four.Early mornings will be extremely cold, with temperatures ranging between minus six and minus 15 degrees. The weekend is expected to bring a lot of snow, the daily Jutarnji List writes.
