57 Croatians still in Egypt


Fifty-seven Croatian citizens are still in protest-ridden Egypt awaiting possible evacuation, the daily Jutarnji List writes.They have contacted the Croatian embassy and have expressed interest in being evacuated from Egypt where thousands of people have been calling for the resignation of the President Hosni Mubarak in public protests for several days. More than 100 people have been killed in the clashes.Some of the remaining Croatians were supposed to be travelling with the 15 diplomats and their families who arrived safely in Zagreb yesterday (Tue), but had decided to stay at the last minute due to private reasons.All of Croatian oil company Ina's employees have also been evacuated.
